I'd like to know why this particular thread was locked? I am 100% serious in the request, I think the guy deserves it.. I see a couple people responded negatively, but they should be dealt with on an individual level, not by locking my thread. THere are 2 or 3 other threads with the exact same request which have NOT been locked, so I don't think the topic in and of itself is the issue.

The issue is nobody is going to get an Elite title based soley on their participation in P&N. End of discussion!
 
It would seem that the lock was an answer to your nomination of Elite status for CADkindaGUY.
Deservedly or not.
 
They're working for free last I heard....I doubt they have the time to explain EVERY action taken towards EVERY request...there are simply too many.

...besides, as oldsmoboat stated, it seems the lock is a pretty clear answer to your question, deservedly or not.
