Why would people lie about something that's so easily verified? 😕 I think people do this crap just so they can say "I was the guy who started that e-mail forward chain." Why you'd want to brag about that, or whom you would brag about it to, I have no idea.

yeah, once i narrowed down what was going on, i was putting the fob up against a number of things to increase range.

At first i thought it was height (when you hold it up to your chin, it is higher than when you have it pulled out of your pocket). so i tried holding it higher and higher. but that wasn't it.

then i put it up against the fence post vs. pulling it out of my pocket. *bam* success. so now if i need range, i find a pole or other inanimate metallic rod. or my chin.
