Locked out of my pc...

If I posted in the wrong place, please move me to the right forum mods. There isn't a customize button anymore, so I dunno if I filtered out the os forum or not.

Anyways, I'm locked out of my new tablet pc loaned from my school. I could logged in before, but I changed the domain to workgroup so I can transfer some files from my desktop, and now it doesn't recognize my login/pw. Does anyone know of a way to change back to the domain lest I suffer the wrath of my TA?

Why can't you join the domain when logged in as whatever local user you created to transfer files?

It sounds like he had a domain login and he changed it to a workgroup, so now there is no domain controller to authentize him. You will need the local admin PW to get to it, so take it back to school and have them fix it up for you.

I assumed he would try to join the domain while on the network with the DC...
