I like to make big decisions like this with a simple "can this get me shot or killed" test.

One way can get you shot or killed, the other can't. I'll let you decide which is which.

I went looking in the history for a page I had just visited and found about 30 porn links in there, all from this morning.

As someone else said, this is not the same as finding porn actually on the computer. That said, why on earth would you even consider telling her about it? What possible good do you think would come from doing so?

Here is what you do:

1. Copy it over to an external hard drive.
2. Upload to site for ATOT to review.
3. Mind your own business.

I mean seriously, why ask this question? It isn't like the guy is doing anything illegal.

Take a naked picture of yourself and make it his desktop image.

or stir some shit up between them by creating a new folder filled with nude amateur chicks and dudes. bonus points for using unusual fetish pics.

Well we can't all be a shiny beacon of humanity like you. If it is child porn, that is one thing, but just regular people having sex, who cares? Maybe the guy is trying to learn how to better please his wife?

MYOB but when you give it back to her she'll more than likely ask "So what could cause this?" That is when you say "Well a virus from any number of sources like facebook, myspace or PORN site". Emphasize porn.

MMOB...but strike up a conversation with your buddy about the newest versions of Firefox and benefits of the "private browsing" option.
Yeah, really.

It's like the abstinence-only "sex-ed" crap, or when the US tried Prohibition. In some cases, telling people "No, you can't have that at all" isn't going to stop them, so the best solution is to help mitigate the consequences of certain behaviors. In this case, yes, Firefox would help considerably. IE seems to have as much security sense as a small child trying to buy candy from the neighborhood Candy Van.

You know a lot of couples look at porn too, right? You could risk making a serious ass of yourself there.
