Dave Matthews is a very good guiatrist. i have to say that, even though i am not a fan of teh music. Graham Coxon, formally of Blur, is a very good guitarist also. Check his stuff out.

The Flaming Lips <--- not DMBish
The Greatful Dead <--- Much much more skill as a jam band than DMB
Mogwai <--- not DMBish
Radiohead <--- not DMBish
Tortoise <--- not DMBish
U.N.K.L.E <--- not DMBish

all of the above artists mentioned are top shelf, so you should check them out regarless of what they sound like.

That means I enjoy the music. I also enjoy about 100 other artists who have songs that are good, some of which have just one song that is good. Maybe you should move along, your worthless posts are making no sense.

Do you mean "good groups"? I wouldn't consider Dave Matthews a "good guitar artist". I think he is a good music artist (I don't like his stuff, but I respect his music talent and writing ability). By good "guitar artist" I think you need to look along the lines of Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Stevie Ray Vaugh, BB King, etc. Those guys are guitar artists. And if you like DMB check out John Mayer, they are basically the same person/group.
