lock ups due to..

/edit: its not vid card... so i upluged 2 cd roms and took out newest stick of ram and running now.

My pc case is kind of stuffy inside and when i lockup my cpu temp is low and motherboard so so im guessing its on vid card and i can back this up. The asus gf3 pure classic has a small ass fan on it that sucks and when im running a smaller extra room fan on it my pc doesnt lock up. So is there a program to monitor my vid card temp? Thanks.. it could be ram sinks and it lock up with stock speed also.. grrrrrr

your vid card has to have the sensor on it to be able to monitor the temp VIA software. To check if it does, put the CD it came with in your drive and look for an install software option. It will have some sort of monitoring software if it is equipped. If not, you'll have to buy an external peice of hardware that will do it for you.

It is possible. I had a GF3 TI500 with a fan that didn't work; everything was fine until I played a stressful game for about 30 min. But if your fan is running I don't know. How hot is the room?

My case just sucks i guess ;p but the window and blue light looks tight! I need to get the card cooled off and i dont have any cd's b/c the card was a gift awhile ago. The fan on the gf3 is working fine but why do they have such a small fan on the card ;-(

I might have to order a cheap 330 or 400 watt psu my current is a ALLIED 300w w/

Came down to powersupply when im back to stock now its stable but overclocked it locks up when it want well i guess the 300watt is pushed to the limit! Wil lget a cheap 350waTT Or so.
