i'm putting about 20-30 full radiohead bootleg concerts on the server instead now

maybe someone will actually want those

it'll stay up till mornin

Only tried downloading one file, but it went at a steady 35K/s the entire time. I'm on 384 SDSL so that isn't too far off my max (about 40K/s).

<< Good a time as any to make my first post so here it is. 160-180KB (max of my cable modem). screenshot not sure if i did that right >>

Welcome to ATOT OrganizedChaos! 🙂

Bowling Green, OH (that's almost Canada, but not quite... ;-) )
Looks good.
Bad you for tempting me to download an MP3...
Deleting it now... Ah, what the heck, I'll give it a try.

The router is the problem, btw. See below.

Edit: I get a 60 ms ping (gotta love this network), but also some dropped packets. I betcha this is why some people get bad connection speeds to your server.
Doing a pathping for you:

Edit: took out the first two hops. Just for my privacy.

Seems fine, just like navigating on a slow LAN. 5mb download took about 3 minutes.

Am running 1mb shared ADSL in UK.

Connection: fast
Navigation: a little slow
Downloading: 75,6 kbps. Nice. 🙂

<----- Cable, Finland.

Hovering at around 7-8KB/sec. Tried ping a few times, came back with ~50% packet loss. ISP is ATTBI cable in Los Angeles.
