If she is with one of her friends, she could have at least given you a call so you wouldn't have to sit by the phone all day.

When she does get in touch, and *if* she has broken her promise, then sit her down and tell her how it made you feel. Explain that you understand that her friends are important to her (and that by no means makes it ok for her to ignore you, or take you for granted), but she needs to at the very least give you a call when a change of plans happens.

Dood, if she wanted to be with you today she'd call you. That's harsh, but it is as simple as that. If she doesn't call today, you better start falling out of love.....quickly.

it's okay .... college and beer will open your eyes :D

Well just ask her why she never called and tell her you were waiting for her. Now, just go outside or go to the mall and just get your mind off of it. It's Sunday and tomorrow is school, don't waste a free day like that.

I'm 18 and have never been into the beer/sex scene, and I don't plan to get into that in college. It's just not my thing.

No you probably won't, but in a year you won't even care. You're a doormat dude, remedy the situation appropriately.

Dismal, I agree with Azraele's idea... To be honest, it's invariably better to have a reasonably independent minded girlfriend, rather than a clinging one with lots of problems. This will give you a perfect opportunity to see just how considerate and caring she is. If she's the girl I think she is, she'll feel bad about what happened, apologize, and promise to be more considerate in the future.

Also, don't worry about college. I never touched one single drop of beer or had random, meaningless sex. You'll find like-minded people who have a more grown-up, less narcisstic attitude about what's important in life.

Youre not in love, you're in high school.

I know kids get pissed when older people say "you're young, you don't even know what love is yet". Sometimes highschool kdis DO fall in love. However - you didn't. It takes two people to fall in love, you're just happy cause someone wants to be with you. Er.... well, you thought she did anyway.

Things turned out OK. I called her and she was just getting back to the beach (we're on spring break). She slept until 12 today because she is really sick, and didn't leave her house until 3. We went out with her friends to eat, but then I went over with her to a beach house with a bunch of girls and sat around, but I told her I felt out of place and wanted to leave, so she left with me and we rode around talking for about 30 minutes, then I dropped her off at her car and she went back to her friend's house.

I think everything is okay. I just misinterpreted her when she said spend the day together.

Let me break this down for you...

<< I called her and she was just getting back to the beach. >>

= She was out at a club last night, met someone else and stayed at his place.

<< She slept until 12 today because she is really sick, and didn't leave her house until 3. >>

= She had a monster hangover, was sore and couldn't get out of bed.

<< then I dropped her off at her car and she went back to her friend's house >>

= She's going back the the club guy's place.

From the sound of it you are looking like the classic doormat. It appears to me that she is taking advantage of what she knows about you thusfar, which is that you will take her crap no matter how much she dishes out, and if you don't like it, screw you seems to be her motto. If i'm correct in thinking that she's taking advantage of your goodheartedness and wanting to make the relationship work, it's not likely going to work, because she only cares about herself. I hope i'm wrong about this but i'm likely not, since i've seen this happen to friends, and in reverse order also. Good Luck though.
