I think this was put here to force us into subscribing by attrition. . . . Maybe its flashing subliminal messages? It is one of the most annoying ad's I've ever seen, I have to hit the escape key on every page. I'm sure everyone is goign to jump in and go "@#*($(&@# what ad... I don't have any ad's on my anandtech."

I like the flashing red ad. At night I turn off all the lights, cue up my old acid rock music and jam. It's just like a strobe light. I wish Anand would put several on, flashing at different frequencies.

Personally, I like the Coolermaster ad that TCWO puts up there. Then again... I have an invested interest in it. 😉

Be strong, the ads change with time. I don't think this will be here for more than say... a month :Q. Other ads were quite good tho. Like that 'Stupid idiot, shut up etc' thing. The best was the one 'Brand yourself a warrior' (Radeon). Frankly speaking, I don't know what moron designed this red flashing thing. I can't imagine a person who would click it. >>

It's the idiot nefs that post stupid things like !BTL, "Huh? " and so forth that make me wonder if subsrcibing would be worth it or not. There's a nef infestation that needs clearing out before I'll add my $30 to speed up seeing more one word posts to increase someone's post count.

 
I guess i just have to redirect realmedia-a800.d4p.net in hosts file... I'm all for supporting anandtech. But my head hurts.
