My gut feelings are that his old lady and others knew about what going on. Also, I get the impression that egay is doing a CYA.

The story is interesting in the fact that it happened in my hometown. Never heard of this guy or had any dealings with him, but is weird to see my small hometown in a story on MSNBC.
