How do I get the proper square pixels if I want say 1280x720 on a 4:3 CRT without it being stretch to fill the screen, and without having to adjust the monitor geometry? I have seen these options in Intel intergrated drivers, but cant find it for nvidia :p.

i'm not entirely sure why you would want that...

Just play the souce material in a media player with the res set at 1280x960, and you'll get native 1280x720 with the usual black bars...which will look identical to locked 1280x720 ;)

Well assuming you want that resolution for something other than movie-viewing, what's wrong with fiddling with the geometry a little bit? If you use nvidia's refresh rate override settings you can have different geometry settings for different resolutions/refresh rates.

The options you saw with Intel are probably for LCDs.

For CRTs using non 4:3 ratios you'll likely have to adjust the geometry.
