Beware that this card has a feedback isue from the headset to the microphone. It only comes into play when you are listening while the mic is on, for instance in online gaming when you speak you can hear the background gaming noise looping into the microphone (like if someone else was talking they would hear themselves back, or a gernade etc.). I still use this card for sound, but I use my motherboeard for the microphone, kinda anoying.

got a link for this card? I know its B&M I just mean the model and stuff.... I think santa cruz is a whole line of cards isnt it?

No, the Santa Cruz is one model of card from Turtle Beach.

Link to Newegg's description of the TB Santa Cruz.

In fact, the Turtle Beach was the only sound card. It is being phased out in favor of Montego, Catalina and Riviera. If your thing is recording music in stereo, Turtle Beach is an outstanding card and an outstanding bargain -- even at it's preclearance price.

Santa Cruz Sound Cards

Uhhh... I think they had it right before... with Turtle Beach being the company and Santa Cruz being the specific card.

I owned one and built 2 other systems with them.

Also, I find your link pretty amusing :)

Yeah, they were kinda right and wrong -- as I was in inverting the company name and the card name. Santa Cruz WAS the only card from Turtle Beach. Santa Cruz is being phased out in favor of Montego, Catalina and Riviera.
