anyone can get a tag. I am sure you watch the news and have seen a show about it.

I've also known people that had a family member that needed the handicap hang-tag/plate but would use it for themselves. When was in that situation, I would just drop-off the person at the door and go park even though I had the hang-tag in my car.

One can only hope...either that or tow your vehicle. All it takes is one roaming tow truck to spot you and you're done.
They don't bother with handicap spots, which is actually illegal. Parking a non-hybrid in a hybrid spot isn't illegal, it's just against the property owners rules. No business owner is dumb enough to have it's customer towed over a hybrid spot when they don't do it on handicap ones.

What the FUCK are you talking about? There was no need for that person to park in a handicap spot. None at all, there was no mobility issue or anything. Maybe we should have retard parking so you could finally have your own spot.

You don't really know how handicapped a person is at face value. My buddy's father has back and leg problems, something wrong with his nerves and gets tired quickly. He walks normally with no mobility issues but can't walk for long distances. He has a handicapped sticker.

Hey dude...cool it. No need to explode with that kind of language or make assumptions on your part. My point still stands...you don't have to be a quadraplegic to need a handicapped sticker. You can be mildly handicapped and qualify.

Next time you see an ambiguously handicapped person, go ahead an ask detailed questions about their disability. I don't know if the letters MD are after your name but hopefully you can make that tough call whether the sticker is deserved.

What if you are driving a pure electric non-hybrid car such as the Nissan Leaf?

:p

EDIT: For that matter, what about a 70s Honda Civic that gets more gas mileage than a Prius despite not having an electric motor to assist?

I don't know about other places, but here they are labeled as High Efficiency Vehicle spots.

I don't know what they consider high efficiency though.

29th street mall in Boulder has a free parking garage that is always full. Recently they added a few "alternative fuel vehicles only" parking spots.

The idea that hybrid are inherently more efficient is retarded. A TDI Jetta or even a Honda Civic are still much more efficient than some retarded hybrid SUV.
