Local Area Connetion

Hi, my new laptop is kinda weird. I can use wireless without need to set up when I just bought it, but afterwards I couldn't use wireless because Local Area Connection is shown unpluged unless DSL line is connected. The speed of wireless is fine, but I still couldn't connect to Internet.

Does anyone here know the problem is? I feel Local Area Connection became annoying when I use it out of my home. But what exactly Local Area Connection is? Should I need it? If I remove it, will it bother to connect to Internet?

You description of your system is very vague. It seems that your Network is not set correctly. As far as obtaining IPs and sharing.

However if you would read the content of the following link I am sure you would find a solution.

Ignore the prices in the links above. The same or similar hardware can be found for 60%-90% less.

Log to this page it has a lot of links to instructions to Windows Network Setting and Sharing.
