This website below is selling a

LNC 350W P4 ATX POWER SUPPLY

for $19 + shipping. I am not sure whether to submit the order or not. I checked AMD's recommended PSUs and this one is there, but under Deer. It is recommended up to XP 2000+. I have heard some bad things about Deer. Total for me was $28 which is extremely cheap and I am in a budget right now.

What do you guys think? Hot deal? Warm? Ice Age Cold?

I'd just head over to newegg and get the Enhance 350Watter...it's a bit more money but I like it(noisy though)

i was going to get the enhance 350 W one, but i heard it is pretty noisy and this is for my sister, so i dont want a noisy one for her.

Any other inputs from anyone else?

From my personal experience I hate Deer/LNC power supplies. Worst case senerio that happened was one of my friends. He got a Deer 300w power supply that ran for about 10 mins then died. On top of that the thing was really loud. I personally would throw down some extra dough on an enhance(a little loud), sparkle(a bit loud as well), or an Antec(nice quietest PS I've been able to get my hands on). Hope the info helps. Only problem is Antec's are a bit spendy.

I agree with Coca-cola. These are bottom of the barrel as far as power supplies. I have a bunch in the field and they are continuously dying out after 10-12 months. Spend the extra money on an Antec.

So can anyone tell me where to get an Antec for a good deal?

TIA

compusa has or had the antec 400w psu for $60 after some rebates. i got this deal and my friends paid the same price for a 350w psu. i rather pay the money and get quality made products! Compusa

My new Enermax (460 model I think, has about 410 watts) is bult like a bricksh*t house and far quieter than the Antec 300s (several) that I had before.

You have to be impressed by a psu that comes with a serial number, owner's manual and three year warranty.

Once in a while there is a deal for them posted here.

flyinggirl-
Thanks for the tip on PCA Inc. Great deal. I bought two Sparkle 300WATT ps (refurb) from Newegg yesterday for $50.46 shipped. PCA Inc. was only $55 shipped for two NEW 400WATT ps!

Thanks flyinggirl for the link.
Has anyone ever ordered from PCA? Shipping to PA via UPS ground is $5.52 for me. Seems like a good deal, How is the quality of the Linkworld Power Supply?...Thanks!

PCA 's power supply is from Linkworld Electronics Co. Ltd, I bought several of Linkworld's screwless ATX cases. I am satisfied with their quality so far

I ordered the Linkworld 400W PS from PCA yesterday. UPS delivered it this morning, it shipped from NJ and I'm in PA. So far so good, and it's much quieter than my old 235W PS. Thanks flyinggirl 😀

I bought a 400 watt L&C about a month ago and it runs just fine. Got it for $28 shipped. Deer power supplies were such crap that they are now manufacturing some under the name L&C. Along with the new name seems to be better quality. It seemed to be as heavy and as well made as the antec 250watt it replaced.
