hahaha I'm a PS2 fan but I thought that was really funny. I can't wait till Sony kicks microsoft's ass in the online gaming dept....because they already have them beat with everything else.
 
Umm XboxLive isnt exaclty going to be the Zone. Its a totally new service(which will also run the Zone eventually), that MS spent $1billion on.

As for Halo being the only good game on Xbox, you probably dont have an Xbox. Theres more than just Halo, and this is coming from some that also has a PS2 and GC. I have twice as many Xbox titles as I do PS2 titles, and I have 4 times as many Xbox titles as I do GC titles.

Really, though, after a year, I'd bet money that you would either A) buy the new version anyway, whether it's online or not; and/or B) be tired of playing Madden 2003 at that point and would probably have trouble finding others still playing 2003 when 2004 is out.

You could always get 2K3....they said they wont cut the servers.

On a side note, console wars are so f'ing lame it's amazing ... I mean jesus there are good games for all the consoles. Just play what you like, I work a dead end job at Target for petty spending money and to make my way through college and I'm still manage to own all 3 consoles (4 if you count the GBA) and own a kick ass PC (in the process of upgrading).

Ugh, fighting over which games are "better" than the others is so retarted.
 
Funny, this coming from a company who touted the console's internet capabilities right out of the box, yet was still beaten to the punch by Sony.
 
I hate Microsoft, and wouldnt bother buying an xbox even if it had a good game or two, but I think that is pretty funny 😀

True, but the console itself would be two. I wonder what sony's response will be, I haven't seen a good console battle since the Dreamcast vs PS2 days.
 
sony's already won the console war for this generation...the way i see it the only competition is between x-box and gc for second place 😉
