My friend has a 1988 Geo Metro. It has a 3 cylinder and ~50 HP engine. (got specs from 1989 Geo Metro @ carpoint)

Anyway, sometime last night, somebody opened the hood and stole the engine and the battery 😀😀😀

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I just about died when he told me the news... then I had to say "that sucks dude" 🙂

:Q My mom used to have a Chevy Sprint (precursor to the Metro and almost exactly the same). That thing SUCKED, but still... pulling the whole freaking block out is impressive enough. It may be small, but it's still quite heavy. That's pretty funny, although I would feel horrid if I were in his situation! 🙁

Probably using it as a cooling fan motor, I have a couple of those with that same engine. You just have to vent the exhaust and you are all set, although they do bog down every now and then...😛
