well ya know, with enough performance mods, a civic could beat it. there are some civics making like 800 hp. i've heard

i know like the drag ones from steve papadakis and the like make a sh%t load... up in that range i mentioned. its very possible
 
OK After carefull examination a dragged out civic would take it in a quarter mile, but thats it.... That is a Skyline GTR wich for anyone who doddnt know, or diddnt knotice from a couple diffrent of those video clips is all wheel drive...... That is my absolute dream car, I Just wish they were legal in the US............. & If I Ever Move Overseas I Am Deffinitly gettin 2 of em...

with the money you spend to bring it to 800 hp you might as well buy a better car, but the money that you saved in that car, and that way you can get to 800 much easier

also, if you make the skyline into a drag car...NO WAY IN HELL a civic is beating that!

I'm not claiming civics are god cars... i don't have one. Im just saying that yes, it is possible. I know it would cost a lot; i'm just saying you could do it

But the question was "is it possible?", not "is it sane?". Answer to the first question would be yes, with enough cash and people with skills, it is possible. Answer to the second question is just my opinion, no.

Bugatti is making a production car with that much & many other cars are capeable of it, The skyline GTR for 1 is plenty capeable of it with mods.....

Of course there are 9 second civics out there... but that doesn't mean any car couldn't be! you can turn a Chevette into a 9 second car.. (8 second Chevette anyone?) - Saw that in a performance mag a few years ago... I was LMAO.

That car is GORGEOUS.. the engine, the car itself.. EVERYTHING.. good lord I want something like that.. :Q :Q :Q

Not to mention that 9 second Dodge Caravan I saw on some site a while back :Q
 

Just FYI, that car dynoed at 444kW which is about 595 wheel HP. Any civic that can beat that skyline probably isn't going to be anywhere near street legal, instead it'd be a trailer car.
 
Thats an ill engine It has 2 turbos, I think. Wonder if it would be a bytch to tune and keep running smoothly. The Skyline is a Nissan? Is that a cousin of the 240sx we had here?
