What's funny is that you could watch it with a group of kindergarten aged kids, laugh your ass off, and none of the kids would have a clue why you were laughing.

I don't know man, maybe, they watch an old edition on VHS, the same one over and over again. They have all the songs and acts memorized. I certainly feel different and can attest to IQ loss.

It wasn't made to actually be shown to kids though. They made that episode for a special purpose. Back in the 70's, the British (with their superior sense of humor), would make videos from all their outtakes & bloopers, and would sometimes script something special for at the end of a production day when the production was completed. From what I understand, that video was part of a Christmas contest against a few other shows (or against other video editors, or something). It resurfaced about 5 years ago.
