LMAO at Nader

CNN just asked Nader whether or not he cost the election to Gore in Florida. Nader says he feels Gore cost him the election in Florida. HA!

I just wish that Larry King and other news broadcasters would leave him alone! I'm tired of seeing him talk about the Nadar factor. There is, and never was a Nadar factor!

There needs to be more than 2 parties (dem/rep). We need to do away with parties lines, and just have people running, so we get down to the basics of a real election (values, beliefs, etc.). Nader couldn't even attend the debates and HE was running for President. There's something wrong with that. There's also something wrong with giving the majority of money to two parties and leaving the "real" people left with nothing.

Not really something to poke fun at. :|

There are political parties in every single democratic country in the world. There always has been, always will be. Contrary to popular belief, the two party system makes our government much more stable and effectual than the coalition governments that Europeans are forced to construct with only a plurality going to one party. Go live in Europe for awhile and witness the wrangling that goes on in those coalitions. You know what ends up happening? Small minorities end up playing a much bigger role in national politics because their support is critical to retaining a majority. Would you want Nader having a very large influence on the government? If you answer yes to that, would you also answer yes to Buchanan?

We're not the only country with a two party system -- look at Great Britain.

Then why even allow anyone else to run? Don't tell them they can, and not give them money or let them attend the political debates.
Thats stupid.

Laugh at Nader all you want, but he's getting millions of dollars of free campaign air time for the year 2004 election out of all this. 😉

Too bad Nader didn't win..

We would have saved a lot of money with White House bills. He has lived in a 1 room apartment for 30 yrs.

Wasn't Reagan laughed at in 1976? Yes, with only 1% of the vote. Then didn't he win in 1980? Yes, by a landslide!

Ya never know he may be the man in 2004. I wouldn't laugh now, or you may be laughing at yourself later.
