Llano K-series

Are they launching these because they think the LN2 overclockers will be able to post some really nice results?

I think the only point in FX-4100 was so that AMD didn't have to throw away parts with 2 defective modules, that's the lowest they can go without completely tarnishing the FX brand reuse. Single module BD would have to get a Sempron branding, heh.

Still I think the max Llano can go using multipliers is 3600mhz? It should have no problems with that. The mobo's need a divider so people can raise the reference clock to 133mhz or something instead of the 100mhz base clock. That would allow up to around 4.8ghz which Llano won't be able to hit. At least not a normal thing i'm sure.

We still don't know the full potential of Llano yet, as overclocks have been limited by the completely integrated die. With having an unlocked multiplier for the CPU, we should be able to see what it can really do. I'm pretty sure it could get around 4.2GHz average.
