Llamas are pretty cool

Yea, I think Llamas are pretty cool also. Their one of the few members of the camel family that survived the last ice age in the Americas.

Before the last ice age, camels were common in north America.

After the last ice age, only the Llama and alpaca survived.

I have 3 of them and they're pretty stupid paranoid useless animals. Can't even eat them and collecting wool from them isn't worth the effort.

Shoud've gotten alpacas. Alpaca's are superior to llamas, but I couldn't find an alpaca font.

Alpacas can be a bit easier to handle since they are smaller, but they can be just as nasty as llamas. The females can be quite friendly if they are young and don't have any babies around. I've been spit on a couple of times and it's some pretty foul stuff if they've been working it up. It's just an automatic response if something surprised them and you might get caught in the cross fire. Now, if you're handling them for some reason and they're building up a big spit wad, have a bed sheet handy or they will go after you.

I've never been hurt by an alpaca but I know people who have and a female w/baby almost killed a dog that wondered into the pen.

I volunteered on a farm at MSU one summer and they had attack llamas instead of attack dogs for the sheep.

I still have nightmares about those teeth D:

I'm more partial to mööse.

I've heard that moose burgers are the best. I've had bison (love it) and elk (meh), but all of the hunters I talk to always tell me that moose is teh win for burgers.

Also, they remind me of those pack animals they ride around on Hoth in Star Wars. And then cut open to get warm D:
