Lladro Figurines...

So, my gf's grandmother has a fairly significant collection of 30+ year old Lladro figurines... however i have been trying to find one specific one that she has...

it looks like http://www.parkavegifts.com/IB...oduct-id/25916648.html

that one, but it is in no way 10.25" tall, more like 20" tall atleast...

Now, those of you who do know Lladro, where would i find it? Am looking to figure out value and what not... I believe it did have the blue stamp on the bottom of it, which according to wiki would mean its a 1974+, but her grandfather, who was the main collector of them died in 1986, and was sick for a few years prior to that so its definately earlier that that, and her father says most are in the 30+ range...

TIA

Are you a gold digger?

nope, her and her father are wondering since her grandmother is 90 and getting worse every day, so we are all just wondering...

the only thing i know about them is that they're expensive...

among the things I don't know is why people would pay so much for them.

Darn, that's a serious collection of some very valuable items.

there is also a stamp collection, and probably a box with all of the original certificates for the (i want to say 50 odd lladros)... not to mention her great uncles collection of lladros and god knows what else (some say they would not be surprised to find an original michelangelo paintings in her great uncles house...
