I live at home and my girlfriend has slept over several times(has stayed over for weekends and once for 2 weeks, another time for a week) and my mom doesnt mind at all, in fact they get along great. My mom says she'd rather have us home then out in god knows where. She knows we would do whatever we want to do anyway so it's not like not letting us do it at home is gonna stop us.

and yes my friends do come over and we have drinks sometimes.

And I've gotta laugh at all the people saying "it's free" to live at home....bah, what a pathetic excuse to miss out on an experience

Sure, but it is hard to raid the fridge at 2am and reenact 9 1/2 weeks in your parents house...

Chocolate and whipped cream just isn't as much fun when your parents are three rooms away...

I lived at home my first 2 years, and this semester, but I'm getting tired of it.

I'll be moving on campus in the spring(most likely out of my pocket because I want out of my house), even though it's only ~30 minutes from my house...I can't deal with being home anymore...lack of freedom is killing me.

I can't wait til next semester, and who knows that the fall will bring...I'll be 21 in May and a senior in the fall so maybe I'll just get my own place, or spend another semester on campus..we'll see, but I CANNOT wait for January 😀

Ditto.

I live in dorms and its great. It gives me complete freedom to do what I want and have who I want over when I want. I come back every weekend on Friday night to work at my parents shop that night and on Saturday night. Its alright I work in the shop I get paid and I help out the family and I get my accomodation fees paid for me. Hard to trust other people with money when its only a small takeaway with no cameras on the tills all the time.

I go out d uring the week and party but I come back on the weekends. I see my family and chill with my little bro whos 7 yrs old. He misses me every time I go awwwwww.

Besides, having sex in your bed is fun, but having sex on the kitchen table is also fun, and that is hard to do at the folks place.

Yeah threads eventually expire. My mom is pretty cool, and yes i agree she would not want to hear moaning, not to mention how embarrasing that would be the next morning 😛. As for the kitchen, its been done along with the living room couch etc etc......

Dont worry about your gf seeing your posts, mine is a member here and i'm still alive :Q
 
What kind of job do you hold in AK that pays 1200 while going to school???

If he makes that much WHILE going to school, wtf doesn't he get his own place?

Sure, but Thumper is probably not nearly as understanding as your g/f is... Remember that she punches me when she wants sex, imagine what pain she'll inflict on me if she knew I was discuessing our sex life with a bunch of strangers...

Of course, I suppose the logical response would be, "well dear, you're working tonight so I had to talk to someone!" Knowing her, that would just make her madder! 😛

I mean, really, you talk about this so-called "Thumper" way too much. I only read two threads in OT and I feel that I already know what color her vibrators are and how often she changes batteries in them

Well maybe in Alabama you could live on 1200 a month, but not here in AK... I make just a $400-500 more than he does a month and I have a hard time making ends meet!

Just out of curiousity -- what profession is she in? In my case its the other way around, I spend way too little time at home, but hey, thats the disadvantage of being employed 🙂

I am living at home for my first two years of school at the local community college and next fall I get to go to a real school and move into the dorms, it's gonna be freakin awesome.

She works for a home construction company, she manages one of the remote offices. She more or less handles the odds and ends, people have a problem, they take it to her, someone needs something done right this second, they take it to her, etc.

The plus side is, she doesn't have to take any of it home. 4:30pm hits and she's out the door. Some days it is an easy job, not much going on, other days you'd think a tornado had gone through the office.

She works nights (mostly weekends) for a restruant as a waitress. Was is so sad is that she makes about the same money at both jobs. A lot of the area around us is "dry" which means you cannot serve liquor, but in this one small town in the middle of the area, you can. So all the guys come and drink on Friday and Saturday night.

Now Thumper is good looking (you almost have to be in that business), she gets hit on all the time, but that doesn't bother me so much, it is when they try and slap her butt or put their arm around her (yes, they try that stuff), that I get bothered... They do tip well however. Drunk guys somehow think a $50 tip on a $50 tab will somehow impress her and I guess get them some. It doesn't work of course, but there have been a few Friday's when she has made over a thousand bucks in tips. Not many, but two or three. Most Friday's she seems to make about $500 in tips. Saturday is almost as good...

Sad, isn't it? She has a college degree and a good day job, and her looks get her nearly as much money doing that at night as she earns at her "skilled" job...

Sigh...
