1) make a budget
2) stick to it

only go out to eat 1-2 x a month
shop at cheaper stores (food is usually just as good, IE Aldi's)
live 3 miles from work, no mucho driving

etc.. im lazy :)

1) Learn to cook.
2) *NEVER* carry a credit card balance. If you're going to make a big purchase, save up some cash for it! Also look for "6 months same as cash" deals.
3) Make a budget and stay with it. Make sure you give yourself a certain amount of money each week to blow on silly stuff and then once it's gone, make yourself wait until next week for the next toy you purchase.
