I hope this guy leaves T-Mobile after they're no longer an underdog and moves to cable.
How does the verge get pics up on the liveblog so damn fast?
That was a really excellent commercial for TMo's pay off program. I hope that's what they're running on TV.
EDIT: "Take our plan, get out of your contact, if it doesn't work, go get AT&T's plan. They'll pay you to come back!"
HILARIOUS!
Damn TMobile and their massive EDGE network.
Just John himself makes me want to switch to TMobile, but if I can't even get HSPA+ in my home area, a major suburb of Charlotte, it just doesn't make sense.
If only their coverage was any good.
Perfectly adequate for my needs. 1 month and 8 days until I'm able to switch.
I know what they just announced, but we're bringing our own devices.
What do you mean by that? You wanted to renew your contract with your current carrier first (20 months from now), get new subsidized phones, and *then* switch to T-Mobile and have your ETF paid?
Why don't just do it now?
No, I think he means that he wants to take his 2-year-old devices to the new network once the contract has expired.
If you have a Galaxy SII, that's still a perfectly capable phone and there isn't necessarily a need for a new one except for the fun of it.
it's coming eventually. legacy users need new devices![]()
Which is why I'm confused why he wanted to wait with the reason "because we're bringing our own devices". If he switched now, he would still get his ETFs paid by T-Mobile even if he doesn't want to trade in his current phones.

You only get the ETF paid if you trade in your phone, and you buy a phone from them.
