Do you still live with your parents? How old are you? If not when did you move out?

I moved out recently. When I was 22.

I'm 22, and still do. I'll be moving out as soon as I find a job. If I find a job here in town, though, my mom has already said that I can stay here and save money or I might buy a car since mine is 15 years old and isn't going to last much longer.

Kind of a progression. Left for college when I was 18, but still came home most summers, breaks, etc. By grad school I was probably 98% on-my-own. Finished grad school @ 24, ben on my own since.

No, I moved out when I went to college at age 18. I haven't lived with them longer than maybe 2 months at a time since going to college. I suppose I officially moved out when I turned 20 and got my first apartment. Since then I haven't stayed with them longer than 1 month at any given time. EDIT: Also, after having my own apartment, I never "moved" home in that I never brought all my belongs back to their house.

Provided I can get a job after grad school, I shouldn't need to move back in with them.

Moved out @ age 18, never looked back, but those were different times, and it looks like we're headed into another recession.

I have met 50-60 year old guys still living with mom. They're usually pretty fvcked in the head.

i'll be 24 in a month-- still living at home :) Plan on staying here for at least another year and a half.

on one side, it sucks living at home -- but on the other hand, my parents are pretty cool, i've got a good job and i'm saving up tons of money by not having to pay rent-- so that when I finally do move out -- i can hopefully buy something rather than mess with renting an apartment or townhouse.

moved out right after I graduated HS, and my dad is wineing that I don't have money to start paying him back for college. I keep reminding him you could of been supporting me for the past 3 year as well as paying part of my college the loans didn't cover.

moved out and fully independant at 18 1/2. By fully i mean my parents didn't pay for my car or my insurance or my cell phone or give me a credit card for just in case. I make the destinction because i know a huge number of people that claim that they are independant from their parents but their parents still pay for stuff like that or still claim them on ther taxes or whatever.

I moved out shortly after I turned 22. Almost a year ago now. I am completely self sufficent. Have an apartment (with a roommate), a new car, cellphone, pay for everything myself.
