That is not the issue.

The issue is that the situation in Iraq is not getting any better, despite what the current administration claims. They screwed up, and both Iraqis and US citizens are paying for it.

I don't think any reasonable person would think that a US pullout of Iraq is a good idea right now.

Are you two really so dumb as to NOT see the fallacy of your arguments? It's embarassing. It's worse than the morons who scream "Love it or leave it!" at protestors.

Yeah, I'm scared, I faint at papercuts, blah, blah... you sure know me, you're so clever. My 13 year-old students can come up with better arguments than that.

well its free publicity to the sheraton and palestine hotel 😀 you know they won't have to ever do any intensive advertising with all the free airtime they get.

Yeah! And their new slogan could be "Just an occasional mortar round!" 🙂

Look at the way the topic title is all caps, with exclamations. See how the milisecond "bad" news appears it's posted on this page with sanctimonious ferver. I bet the creator wished a journalist or two were wounded... wow, that would be even more hurtful to Bush!!

It's gross

Who said it's related to any argument here? I'm separately pointing out all you nationalists should put your money where your mouth is and serve in Iraq.

WTF are you talking about. Title was all caps because I wanted people to notice it and turn on the news since it was happening LIVE. All of my comments were basically being updated as I heard it on CNN. Keep on making your assumptions. I created it because I saw it happen live on my tv and figured a thread was worthy.

You don't know anything about me and you decide to assume all these things. To even insinuate that I was hoping that people were dead is wishful thinking on your part not mine. How would Cheney say it? "GO FvCK YOURSELF!."

Hehe, I get a kick out of the Iraq war cowards who supported a war that slimed 60 years of hard won American prestige as a country of respect for law cause they pissed in their pants over 9/11 raving on about cowards. Preemptive war against an unarmed enemy that's supposed to be an imminent threat is the height of cowardliness. Your cowardliness slimed the greatest nation and created a piece of sh!t before the world in its place. You are part and parcel of the greatest disaster that ever hit this heretofore wonderful nation.
I get a kick out of the revisionist history viewpoint that the US was so well respected and loved around the world before Iraq.

We weren't.

It's worse than it is now, don't you think you "comprehension challenged moron, and designated forum idiot"?

Even so much as far worse?

Hi Mr. Binary.

"It's worse than it is now...?"

Your lack of composition skills seem to be the thing challenged in this particular case. The lack of that skillset sure doesn't help define the experience you claimed to have aquired from your deep foray into academia. 😉

Care to try again?

Sure you "forum idiot." What kind of "challenged moron" wouldn't see that I meant to say "then" instead of "now"? The need for you to stoop to being a grammar policeman shows again that you truly are a "forum idiot."

As for the academia statement, which banned troll do you want to admit to being? Sounds like you've been following for longer than 492 posts. That said I almost never talk about my private life or history, so I'm not sure what you get your garbage from.

"It's worse than it is "then"...?"

Hmmm...seems your academic mastery of tenses is failing you at this particular moment.

Listen up. If you want to challenge me on my comprehension skills then you damn well better have your grammatical ducks in a row. If not you leave yourself wide open to abuse and I won't hesitate to abuse you thoroughly when you're trying to do the exact same thing to me.

Unlike someone who shall remain nameless, I have relatively decent memorization skills. I particularly remember a thread yesterday where a certain person related "we" and "academics," implying that 'U iz a akidemick.'

Why do you have such fear for academics? Don't fear the educated. We're trying to help you.

Any further unfounded accusations, Mr. Binary?

No no no. I am simply addressing you as you wish to be addressed based on your sig. Personal abuse is against the forum rules. NO PERSONAL FLAMES WILL BE TOLERATED.

I don't have ANY unfounded accusations. 😉

What gives you the idea that I wish to be addressed that way? Does your deep academic training prevent you from detecting sarcasm and self-deprecating humor in a sig?

It's wonderful that you profess to understand that concept now.

I don't have ANY more unfounded accusations. 😉
There, fixed that for you. 😉

I didn't detect any sarcasm mostly based on the quality of your posts, which suggest the statement in the sig is intended to be an honest appraisal. My apologies. It's at least a little ironic that you meant it to be sarcastic... 🙂

And you share the pathetic penchant for re-editing posts with your neocon brethren. Again, you are a neocon and only a neocon.

Well academics such as yourself are often known for not picking up on such nuances, so it's completely understandable.

Apology accepted. 😉

I was merely helping your lack of grammatical and composition skills along. A word was obviously missing.

Now that thrashing Infohawk relentlessly with a keyboard has become tiresome as well as unchallenging, time to get back on topic...

Has anyone seen any updates on this? CNN seems to have dropped the story completely.

Uh-huh. Still wanted to get the last word in though right? If you want to return this thread back on topic be a man and don't respond. Thanks. 😉
