Live! --> Audigy - worth it?

I need to get a firewire port, and being the compulsive buyer I am this seems like an ideal opportunity to switch my Live! Platinum for an Audigy Platinum. Will I get better sound quality at all? I play 256kbit MP3s through Videologic Digitheatre DTS speakers.

The SB Audigy does sound better then the SB Live ,I`ve both normal versions and can tell the difference,the firewire port is not used on mine at the moment but for somebody like you that will it`s an added bonus,you also have very good speakers so you will hear the difference.

Hmmm probably from here ,they do charge for delivery but I normally find they are cheaper then Dabs.You might get lucky and find it cheaper somewhere else but the prices at CCL computers are very good.
 
With delivery they work out almost exactly the same. Think I might get one off of ebay or somewhere, feeling cheap 🙂
