I played the Lego Batman demo on the PS3 and was not terribly impressed.

Vigilante 8 could be pretty awesome.

Yeah, I rented the game for my kids since they had a 4 day weekend. It's the same LEGO fun in a different skin. The only problem is that it still carries over alot of the problems from the previous LEGO games. It is disappointing that Travelers Tales couldn't fix those.

Oh wow I haven't played V8 in years! I don't remember what console it was for either N64 or dreamcast. Gonna go download the demo and see if it is like I remember.

PlayStation (1) and N64 (the sequel also came out on Dreamcast). That was a great game; it helped continue the tradition of car combat games in the aftermath of Twisted Metal 3 and 4 being so terrible. I still have great memories about launching mortars around the California farm level...

Not sure how V8 could be part of the aftermath of TM4, since V8 released in '98 and TM4 in '99.

Yeah, I liked both of them. Never was a fan of Twisted Metal for some reason, but Vigilante 8 was fun. I remember going through a gauntlet mode or something with a friend in the sequel. We'd go up against like 16 buses on the hardest difficulty or something.
