It's a true sandbox game that is supposedly easy to use and easy to share your creations.

That's awesome. I'm loving the characters they are putting into this game. Too bad the console world is so exclusive-happy, I'd love to see a little Master Chief or Mario sack boy.

Seeing how there's no limitation to LBP and most content we'll see will be user created, I won't doubt for a sec you'll see entire game levels and characters recreated in LBP. Imagine the entire Super Mario Bro 3 game recreated in LBP!

Have you seen the any of the countless LBP videos posted on the net?

but does LBP even have enemies that you can kill? i know the demo has those ghosts and stuff, but you just die if you get hit by them.

Nope. Haven't been keeping up on it at all. I know you can make your own levels. Is that it? Any story or anything?

Man, I'd give my right eye for a beta code, I am super excited for this game.

Thanks UF.

little problem, though. Every time I go to that LBP page through the browser on the PS3 it asks if I want to load the plug-in, I say "yes" it kinda opens up to the beta page, with no real function, then says I have no memory and everything goes blank.

Am I doing something wrong? My firmware is current....

I'm pretty sure. I saw a level in which you got a "weapon" and you could shoot down a "enemy" by hitting buttons that were placed on them

Im not sure what you are talking about.

To download the beta, go to account management (It's above the playstation store icon on the XMB). from there you can find the area to redeem a repaid code or a promo code (something like that). You enter your beta key there, and download the file

Here's the deal w/ the Nariko and Kratos codes. Nariko code comes w/ the Best Buy pre-order. Kratos + Medusa + Minotaur code comes w/ Game Stop pre-order. I read each code can be used up to 5 times, so you can share the code w/ 4 of your buds. But that's just what I read at the playstation forums, we'll know for sure when the game comes out. Oh and you get the astronaut spacesuit free on the 1st week as DLC.

I just played a little bit more of this tonight, and I'm debating on whether I'll get it or not. Not sure if I'm the enterprising type to be creating a bunch of levels, but it sure seems easy so far and fun to do.

Well the more I play this the more I like it.

I was just playing online however and when you get lag, it's bad. Also I noticed quite a bit of tearing online.

And holy crap, I can't believe some of these levels. They are very creative. Has anyone else played the God of War level? After playing that I thought there was no way in hell that level was user created, but it was. That is by far the most impressive level I've seen so far.

THen I saw a ton of just good ole fun, like where you ride a jet duck, a rollercoaster level, and a wipeout level.

I think this is a day 1 purchase for me after giving it some time tonight.

Oh god, with the inclusion of Sephiroth I am not scared of the now-promised thousands of FF7 levels...

So I made it to some garden level, to the point where I was putting stickers on some guy, then my ADD kicked in, and I wandered off mid-tutorial.. Looks like I need to finish this before I can move on..

Will give it another go tonight.. I assume I am in some kind of tutorial stage, and the actual game starts later ?

Yes, the tutorial is extra long. I think they do it so you have a really good idea of how to build your own levels. The actual game starts afterward.
