hello guys im new to this forum

ive got a little question

i currently have 2 mother boards

this one
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/P35-Neo3.html

and this one
http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5QPLAM/

im planing to use a small casing and use the asus matx board
but my concern the asus board wont lower down vcore when idle
(eist enabled also c1e)
the msi one does lower down vcore when idle
from 1.20 to 1.13 when idle
but the asus board always 1.20 idle or load

my question is
is there a big difference in power consumption
between these 2 boards since the asus one wont lower down vcore

sorry for my bad english

I've never heard of this being a problem on current boards, but this is such old technology that I don't know.
