Little problem with Opera browser concerning plug-ins

Whenever I come across an swf or an embedded mov, there's a blank box where the content should be, with a caption that reads "Plug-in content". So I go and install the plug-in, and it still doesn't work.

Any ideas? I've enabled Javascript and plug-ins.

I've never had a problem with it.

Try (Tools --> Quick Preferences --> Identify as Mozilla)

Failing that, just reinstall quicktime (or quicktime alternative, whatever you like) and\or flash.

Still doesn't work. No matter how many times I reinstall... (and yes, I close my browser before installing)

Do you see Shockwave Flash listed if you go to opera:plugins?

C:\Program Files\Opera\Program\Plugins\NPSWF32.dll would be the default location if I'm not mistaken.

Quicktime is Opera\Program\Plugins\npqtplugin.dll

That NPSWF32 file exists in that directory, but nothing shows up when I go to the address opera:plugins. Completely white.

I think I'm going to remove Opera and re-install it, I must have borked it when I used that Opera ad blocker prog. Thanks for the help, though!

Reinstall was my next recommendation anyway :p
