I added a second NIC in my computer so I could use my computer as an eithernet bridge(had an extra NIC and too cheap to buy a hub). Anyway, When the computer connected to it isnt on, that little disconnected icon shows up on the taskbar and wont go away. Is there anyway to hide that thing? Its annoying me since I dont have the other computer on much... Im usin XP BTW.
 
ya in network neighborhood look in the properties of that connection, you can disable the taskbar icon completely if you want ..
