hi

just trying to assemble the alpha got a quick question

the fans on top..should they be blowing out or blowing in.,...i always thought they would blow in! but im not sure

well lmk!
btw it's a 7125 so it's for a slot athlon

thx

In the case of high activity, install the fans 'sucking out'. If you install the fans 'blowing in', you will initally see a cooler temperature but at system activity rises, the hot air your fans are keeping inside the heatsink will do it no good at all. The air escape is very inefficent when blowing in. When reversed, the hot air will just be pulled out and replaced with ambient temperature cool air.

hmm...so i should have it sucking out...i use rc5 and constantly play q3a UT, counterstrike...the temps will be lower in the long haul? well lmk....on my tbird i have it blowing in also...which can make a diff! well lmk! thx

i got two of them...on one alpha i got the sunon's and on the other GoldWin (Ystech) both look nice...and they seem to be cooling better blowing out! so far it's a plus...
