I dont know whats worse, CS fanboys or CS haters. Its pathetic either way. Let people form their own opinions on media.

I do not hate CS. I like FPS games on the whole and I always try the latest ones. When I tried CS it wa simply crappy. Gameplay is crappy and graphics are crappy, it is that simple. Now Call Of Duty and it's expansions are a whole other matter.

blaming guns for violence/gun deaths is like blaming pencils for spelling mistakes.

That is true, but it is easier to control the guns then it is to control the fvcktards that think they are competent enought to own & keep a gun in their house but really are not.

It's a video of a little girl and some rednecks reenacting Apocalypse Now
With real miniguns, explosives and other massive firepower

Those aren't miniguns. Those are .50 cal mounted machine guns. Miniguns have multiple barrels, spin, and require massive amounts of electricity to run.

Nothing wrong with a girl that young doing so, either.

beat me to it.

I like that none of the gun nuts have responded to me now that I brought out a few facts. I'm going to assume that you rest your cases. 😛

LA County's population is 50% higher than Israel's. It is naive to assume that if people didn't have guns, they'd stop killing people. I suspect LA has a lot of gun deaths because it has a lot of gangs. If you take away their guns they'll kill each other with knives.

Why don't you bring out the stat that if you keep a gun in your house, it's 40 times more likely to be used against yourself or a family member than against a burglar?

plus there arent armed soldiers on the corner of every street in LA.

re:miniguns vs .50 cal

You're right on. Brings me back to those nostalgic days of Vietnam and my AH-1G Cobra. There may not have been minis shooting at the beginning of the flick, but the results were dang close! Impressive! (4 years active duty, 23 years active reserve and active National Guard including 2 overseas deployments after VN.)
Kudos to the group for getting the kids involved. The way the schools teach about firearms in my neck of Illinois, if they even exist they will jump up on their own and kill everyone in town, plus only criminals own guns..

This flick was a hoot!!! Thanks!

That was pretty cool.

It was also sort of entertaining to read the comments of the pretentious snobby anti-gun douchbags (i.e. brigden).

Nope, the body of the gun she's shooting is smaller, it's a .30 cal.

I have to agree. I've already got 4 PM's from people who seem to know everything but probably never seen one in person. Two of them said that M1919's can't have dual handles. Heres one of my reponses,

The M1919 came in many configurations. I have seen the single handle, dual handle, shoulder stock, and overhand pistol grip in the anti-air configuration. The brass coming out of the gun, the ammo can, receiver size, and barrel size show this is a M1919. The barrel jacket on the M2HB is about 4 inches in diameter, the barrel jacket in this clip shows about 2 inches if even that. If you notice, later in the clip the gun shows a carrying handle. Most configurations of the M1919 have this but the M2HB would be too heavy for anyone to carry it with one hand let alone 2 people.

There is a good photo of the gun she used at the website of the gun dealer who uploaded the videos (Cousino's Firearms): bulletfest05023.jpg

I can say with certainty it is not a .50CAL of any variety. A .50 BMG would be too punishing for a child this small to fire on full auto as effortlessly as she is. The barrel is way too short for any variant of a .50 BMG and the spent cartridges are way too small, compared to the relative size of the girl.

Here is an adult man firing the BMG. Look at the size of the gun and spent cartridges. .50CAL rounds look more akin to anti-aircraft rounds than machine gun rounds, if you've seen them in person.

I would guess its around .30CAL, at best.

I forgot about the cocking handle on the gun. The M2HB has the "rocker" cocking handle and the M1919 has the standard "pull back and release" type. Also the guy shooting the M2HB in the dvic552.jpg photo is shooting it in a dangerous way. Owners of the M2HB have told me that you never put any body part under the gun while firing. If there is a malfunction or explosion, parts tend to go downward to protect the user, like most modern combat rifles.

Also the barrel of that M1919 looks modified.

I didn't think cars really blew up that big in real life, I thought that was over exaggerated in the movies...

They don't. They had that place rigged with explosives.
