after the recent string of events in china where good samaritans were blamed and sued by the very people they helped, it was only a matter of time before something like this happened.

yep, this is why you NEVER help people, because you fsck yourself....... sorry America, this is what you've become. If i'm dying and someone saves my life but breaks my rib in the proccess, i will buy that person a beer! not sue them...... it's too bad that too many people are looking to cash in

In China? Not surprising. Because some people will stage things like these to prosecute, or sue, or just ambush or rob anybody who comes along to 'help'.

Don't be fooled by all the "rich asians". Most people in China is poor and many of them will do anything to get a piece of the pie.
 
I don't know who was the bigger ass. The guy who hit her then ran over her with the back tire, or the dick who flashed his lights and ran over her leg...
 
Holy crap! This is horrible. I couldn't believe the guy pulls away and runs over her AGAIN. I couldn't watch much more than that.
 
It's really messed up that the first guy knew he hit her and totally ran her over with the front tire. Then he stopped just short of crushing her again with his back tire.

Instead of getting out, he just plowed her over slowly the second time and sort of ground her into the road...this was probably the more fatal blow. He literally 'peeled out' on her.

The next asshat just clipped her lower legs at least, still it looks like she's not going to make it.

At least they caught the two drivers.
 
If this is part of the society truly because of the lawsuits, then that's especially disgusting. I thought the legal system in the states was pretty broken, but apparently it's horrendous the world over.

Things need to change... immediately. The people will not put up with this bullshit much longer.
 
I am not excusing the incident, but I do want to caution against the sensationalist rhetoric. It's easy to pass judgement on others especially considering how tragic this is, but I doubt most of the people on this forum would reach out to that child if they were one of the onlookers.
