Upgrade!!!

the 910/913 is very nice.

Also look at the Hyundai L90D+, it uses the sammy panel and is just as good if not better.

that monitor is done... best bet is to pop it open and see what panel it uses. If you're lucky you might be able to score it on ebay... but i highly doubt it.

I didn't see it at first either, but looks to the right and you see it all, poor lcd

I would have Grabbed him by his shirt, lifted him off the ground, Stared right into his eye's and made some sort of threat that would strike fear into the hart of the devil. Then walk to my mothers room or where she would happen to be at that point in time, holding him off to the side so his face snacks into the wall every time you walk through a door-way.

Find mother and tell her what the brat did to my computer.

So pretty much don't let your brother get away with shat like that, Don't kick the ever living crap out of him. But let him know you are PISSED. Tell your Mom/Dad about it right NOW. Don't let him think he can get off easy or he will just keep breaking stuff every time he gets mad at you.

You are in NO WAY responsible for repairing that monitor, IMO. You're parents should pay for a new one, somehow making your brother pay them back. No allowance for 6 months or so comes to mind. Sure, they wont get paid back in full, but 6 months is a long time for a kid that age.

What the fvck, you're not serious are you? A 3 year old getting an allowance? Good God I hope you don't become a parent with a fvcking ludicrous idea like that.

my cousin's brother was actually half decent at CS when he was about 7.

that said, you should discuss it with your parents.

that sort of damage isnt repairable. luckily a monitor about as good as a 710n is only about $190-200 now since lcd prices have dropped.

if you can get your parents to help replace it the 730b is $249 i think at best buy right now. haha. UPGRADE TIME!

THat isn't unusual behavior for a 3 year old, as he really didn't realize what his actions would result in. So you really can't be mad at HIM. In time, he will learn, and always cringe when you tell him the story of how he destroyed your monitor!

Now, were you supposed to be BABYSITTING him when this happened? 'Cause if you were, you might be in the wrong. If it was your responsibility to be caring for him when it happened, and you were playing games and ignoring him, then you were being neglectful. You can't turn your back on a three year old, period.

If, on the otherhand, your parents were home and in charge, then they need to consider buying you a new monitor.

Make sense?

Be easy on him.

don't bother the parents. they raised you and now it's your turn to raise your brother. help them out a bit. when your brother gets a professional job, tell him about the time when he was playing CS and broke your LCD heh

I'm sure it does to the OP, but I'm not so sure about the masses.:disgust:

Talk to just parents, ItmPls.

Sell his to some third world country and use the money for a new screen...

You could make some sweet profit selling him. Right before you do though take his spaceship and step on it and crush it.
