Panic much? Isnt that what America is known for? I can totally see why Ruby would think the way she does...it really is only a matter of time...

hasn't someone come up with a method to detonate a li-ion battery on a digital command? i.e. turn a cellphone into a remote bomb.

America is a high-strung nation, that's for sure. Time to change that last line of the national anthem. 🙄

I don't fly anymore. Not because I'm afraid someone is going to attack my plane, but because of all the ridiculous security. 99% of it there just for show.

That's more far fetched than the (highly desirable I might add!) FOB that sets off those airbags in steering wheels when needed. 😉

I try not to fly from there, security is such a pita compared to the rest of the world.

Man, I hate this pussy ass country more and more everyday.
OMG A CELLPHONES. CALL DA TERRIST POLICE.

I wish we could go back to 1970s style flights with people smoking away, hot stewardesses getting their asses slapped and you could bring any freaking thing you felt like on the plane.

Not so far fetched or a panic much situation.

I always used to travel with my surefire flashlight until some moron tried to take my spare CR123 Lithium batteries at security check in from my carry on.

Now I carry one that takes regular batteries so they can recognize them.
