Liteon LDW-400D... any reviews out there?

Looking for a review on this drive... anyone got any experience with it?

Supposed to be able to do 4x DVD+R and DVD-R.

I was looking for a review myself a couple days ago. I didn't turn up anything. Will have to do that again.
 
This Lite-On drive is the same as the Sony Dru 500-AX. Sony and Lite-On entered an agreement back in February concerning the manufacture of Sony's multi-format DVD drives. Lite-On was already a supplier of CD-RW drives to Sony and many others. I want one and I would probably opt for the Lite-On since it is about $30 less and I prefer their firmware to that of Sony's, although I'm not sure that Sony uses their own firmware for this drive. I'm still playing a waiting game in regard to purcashing a DVD burner. Prices keep falling and I'd like to be able to get this drive for < $200.

Yeah I'd like to buy a multi-format lite-on for <$200 as well.

Have a liteon cd-rw drive right now and I love it.

I just got mine in today. Sorry if I wont be much help, but Im new to writing on dvd, all my experience is on cd/vcd/svcd and such. Its a nice unit, paid $265.00 for it at banana pc.
