I just received this drive from Dell and I have a few questions.

First, The drive makes a wierd noise when you turn it on it's side or upside down. It kind of sounds like a loose spring or something. You move the drive around slightly and you can hear this. It's not like I am jarring it or shaking it hard. Is this common with all Lite-On's or is something wrong with mine?

Second, I use CDSpeed to test out the drive, everything is great except for the Burst Rate. It comes in at 2MB/s. Meanwhile, my Plextor burner scores 16MB/s. Is this normal?
 
I just happen to have a spare of that drive sitting right here on my desk still in the box. Moving it into different positions (out of the box of course) I don't hear anything moving around or rattling. Definitely not the sound of loose springs.

Would someone mind running CDSpeed and seeing what kind of Bust Rate they get? Thanks in advance.
