Here are some items at Best Buy for the week of Dec. 14-20 that I thought would be of interest to most AT readers. I will not post any DVD, cell phones, or TV stuff since most of it is never really discounted.

Lite-On 52x CD Burner(LTR52327) $60-$30MIR-$10MIR=$20
Lite-on 4x DVD+- R/RW Burner (LDW-411) $130-$30MIR-$20MIR=$80

50 pack of Fuji CDRs $13- $8MIR=$5
50 pack of Memorex DVD discs either +R or -R are $50 out the door (OfficeMax has a better deal on 25 pack)

Nice. Minor thread cr*p though. Dell has this card for $85.46 - $20 rebate with free shipping.

Buy the Lite-On CDRW drive at CC for $69.99, then PM it at BB's $59.99 price. CC also gives you 2 rebates, one @ $30, the other @ $20.

I wouldn't order this on-line. It still shows SOLD OUT, as it has since Black Friday. I've had my order go from in-stock and ready to ship, to B/O until 12/04, to the final straw as shown below. I KO'd the order as it would be past the rebate period. Plus an 8X burner is only approx. $50 more.

I catch BB lying all the time about inventory. They like to drop the price on items, and then say they are out of stock.
They suddenly have cr@p loads right when the sale price is over. They also do not mind delaying shipping to put you past the rebate time frame. Funny how they are the only store I notice that does this.

Is this the same Liteon drive that was on sale during the Black Friday sale? If so, it's the same price as it was on Black Friday. I don't seem to remember deals like this in the previous years. Usually, the holiday prices don't touch the Black Friday prices.

As for the 52x burner, is Circuit City putting theirs on sale too? Might be a good idea for a price match. The only problem is that I don't think I'll be able to get anywhere near my Circuit City tomorrow. My mall is a nightmare now.

Well.. If the 5200 is a PCI card, the 9600 would probably have to be a better card because it's AGP. I didn't know that they still made PCI cards, especially PCI gaming cards.

Think I will go Monday to p/u one of the LiteOn DVD burners. $80.00 is too good of a deal to pass up. It should hold me until the new dual layer burners come out next year

Those look like their standard prices, so unless the "after savings" part gets pretty good, not hot. That sucks too, as I really want to get a Canon Optura 20.
 
I went to BB this morning Elyria, OH. They had at least 40+ of these Lite-On DVD burner on the shelf. Is this not a good deal or what?

Picked up 2 packs of the Fuji CDR they are Labeled as Made in Japan

Depends on the store. The Vernon Hills, IL CC store is awesome for doing price matches, but the Gurnee Mills store in Gurnee, IL is horrible. They never price match anything. I've tried about 4 times and they always come up with a really lame excuse why they can't.

BTW.. I just price matched the 52x burner at the Vernon Hills, IL CC to Best Buy's ad. Ended up getting the burner for $8.99 plus tax (about $12) after $50 in rebates. Not bad...

It's actually $8.99 before tax because of the 110% price match of the difference. $10 price match = $11 off. 😀

i tried to PM to bestbuy and CC said they will only PM to the after mail in rebates. I plan to go back tomorrow and say i saw it for less at bestbuy and show them the add in hopes of getting my 10 dollars back, if they refuse do you think i would have better luck taking my receipt to a new store or will they only give me the money back from the store i bought it? thx
