Lite-On 48125W not allowing overburning

I have a Lite-on 48125w, and I am using Nero as my burning software. I have checked, and my burner does support overburning. Therefore, I went to preferences and the Expert settings tab, and made it so that the markers showing the storage cutoff on my CDR were a littlefarther. The file I need top burn is exactly 704 megs.

I am using Imation 48x CDs, yet when I try to burn, the drive spits out the disk and says I should put in a disk with more capacity. Any ideas what I should do here? I have no idea why it is not allowing me to overburn. Thanks

704MB seems to be cutting it really close. Did you try to use the Medium Info tool to see what the absolute maximum the CD-R can hold is? I think it's around 703 or 704MB. Hope this helps.

i guess the medium itself doesn't have enuff space, it is made in japan or TW? i've tried imations as well as generics and can't get my 48x lite-on to overburn more than like a meg in any case
