Ok....this may seem a bit odd but I was wondering what everyone here used as far as mouthwash? I've been a Listerine user for about 10 years but I think they have changed their formula or something. Why? Because the last 2 bottles that I've bought have made my mouth go numb after using it. I'm thinking of switching to the Arm & Hammer brand.....anyone here use it? Suggestions?

I've used Listerine for several years now and it's always made my mouth somewhat numb after use.

According to my dental hygeienist (sp) Scope is pretty worthless at killing that pesky bacteria but Listerine does the job. Try a different flavor maybe?

Tried the Cool Mint.....it's what I bought after my most recent bottle of the original stuff started numbing my mouth.....Cool Mint had the same effect.

Listerine - the blue variant.

I've tried others (Generics, store brands, etc) and they just don't "feel" as effective..

As far as effectiveness, the one with the most alcohol should probably be most effective so I'd guess that would be dr. tichnors or whatever its called. I personally just brush my teeth.

I prefer Listerine because it burns, so I guess in my mind it feels like more of the evil bacteria are being killed. :)
