1. I generally listen to around 3-5 albums a week, but I usually play them at least twice when I have them in rotation.

2. I spend a lot of time in the car and I would go insane if I did'nt have a few albums with me. I also listen to a few records at work through some headphones connected to my PC. I have a stereo but I hardly ever just sit down at home and listen to an album.

3. I think I set a record for last year, I bought at least 40-60 CDs and I can't even remember how many vinyl albums I picked up

4. Lately I've been really digging in the vaults, its so much good sh*t from back in the day. Also because I'm just now really getting into rock I've been playing catch up on a lot of old stuff.

5. I bounce around so much I don't think I even have a favorite genre anymore. It used to be old school soul, then I was hiphop for a few years, then at one point I was really partial to jazz and currently I've been going ape-sh*it over all the classic rock records. I won't even get into my facisination with classical and symphonic arrangements

1) i dont listen to albums I listen to random songs. winamp does it all for me. random playback of about 3500 mp3s

Last one was a couple of weeks ago... LOTR TTT sound track... I guy one or two CD's a year Max... I mostly listen to radio or NPR. And no... I do not cost the Musik Industry money with MP3's.

3.) Completely depends on how good a month/year it's been for the music I like.
4.) Older as far as more popular genres, newer as far as the eclectic stuff (like prog rock)
5.) That's tough. I love folk rock and scremo quite a bit.

1. I listen to my singles collection for at least a couple of hours daily.
2. HTPC -> Denon AVR-3802 receiver -> Paradigm Monitor 7 v2 speakers during the day, SONY MDR-7506 headphones during the night.
3. Never bought a CD in my life.
4. Most of the tracks in my collection are 1999 or newer.

- No idea.

- Using my Nomad 3 in the car or at work with headphones. At home using my computers speakers or my home theater setup.

- I use to buy upwards of 5 per month. Now I barely buy 1 per month just due to the lack of interest and high prices. And its not due to Kazaa, I haven't used that program (or others like it) in over 6 months.

4. What do you listen to the most older or newer music?
- Newer. I'm assuming older means more than 5-10 years.

5. Whats your favorite genre?
- Electronica. See the RIAA hates that genre, so I can't buy stuff in the states for it. And I refuse to pay $30-40 for one cd from Europe.

XM Radio here. I haven't played a CD in the car since. I still play a song here and there while on the computer but no entire albums.

1. No "albums" per-se, just Winamp on Random with ~1200 songs

2. In-car MP3 computer, PC with Inspire 5300 5.1

3. 0-1, depends on what there is that I like new.

1. Depends on what I feel like. For the past couple of weeks, Ive been listening to Jawbreaker: Dear You, and thats it. Before that, it was Death To The Pixies

2. When Im at home, on the computer. I listen to my cds in the car.

1. I listen to individual songs, not albums (except in rare cases where the music in question is best heard in the context of an album - example: Pink Floyd's The Wall)
2. On the PC or portable MP3 player, always with headphones (parents are too picky about musical styles, and they'd get really mad at me if they knew I listened to some stuff - they hate pretty much all modern [and most classic, as well] rock, metal, and/or punk)
