Listened to a set of Totem Hawks yesterday.....

Quite nice speakers. Great soundstage and really amazing sound from such a small tower. Lots of bass extension for its size.

But I then bought a pair of Paradigm Studio 60's. Midrange probably not as well defined but tons more bottom. And as my listening is stuck on '60's-'70's rock, probably won't know much difference, although I did audition with some Dave Brubeck yesterday, and it was superb on the Studios.

Then I got impulsive and bought an NAD T757 receiver. C'est la vie....just glad the wife's down south right now.

Drag is I won't be able to set this up until we move.

If you ever get the upgrade bug, IIRC, peanut butter and jelly combos are PSB speakers with NAD electronics (same ultimate owner and may be voiced to work well together).

I think Paradigm and Anthem Electronics are similar synergistic combos (owned by same ultimate company and may be voiced to work well with each other).
