I just made a 1/2lb medium rare bacon cheeseburger on the grill mmmmmmmm...this got me thinking of the awesome things that can be made on a grill. Please list your favorites to give me ideas for the future!

One of my favorites is extremely simple.

Take boneless skinless chicken breasts and put into a ziploc bag. Fill with your favorite BBQ sauce. Let sit in the fridge for 2-3 hours, then grill.

Turn the chicken once and put some more BBQ on top.

They end up being some of the sweetest, juiciest chicken ever.

Mines:

Hamburgers:
Put beef into a bowl and mix with garlic (freshly pressed), cayane pepper, and a little Dale's. Grill as normal but do NOT press the burgers down while they are grilling, this makes bad burgers!

Asparagus:
The night before you plan to make it, take some olive oil (about 1/8c) and zest a lemon into the olive oil, cover and put in the fridge overnight to let it infuse. When grilling the asparaus, brush often with the olive oil. Asparagus is done when you pick it up in the middle and about an inch on both ends sag.

Those are my favs 🙂

I also love to make Tuna but I can't remember what all is in the sauce that goes over it.

Personally I like to take some steel and fashion it into a box. Then i put a slotted rack over the top. Sometimes i leave cutouts for legs and stand it up off the ground but usually i dont.

If im feeling adventurous I make an adjustable tray for the briquettes. And a hood to keep the heat in.

I stay simple.

Beer Brats:
Get a pan that is about 12x8x3" high, and cut up an onion into it. Place 6 brats in pan. Cover them with beer (usually takes 2-3 cans.) Put on grill for 45 minutes (give or take) and you will probably need to add another beer to compensate for the evaporation. While they are cooking, cut up some more onion into rings and wrap them in foil. You can put some butter or olive oil in there as well to assist in the carmelization. Place on grill and mix them up every 10 minutes or so until they are nice and gooey.

After you have let the brats cook in the beer, Put them on the grill to brown them on each side. Throw them in a bun with the grilled onions and put on whatever other condiments you enjoy. Yum.

I haven't tried grilling this one myself yet, but I've eaten the final result:

Ingredients:
side of salmon
bacon
creamy dijon mustard

My best guess on how to cook this is that you grill the salmon until it is nearly done, then brush on the dijon, topped off with the strips of bacon. Cook until the bacon is done. The smoky flavor from the bacon permeates the salmon, making it incredibly good.

Marinate a few shark steaks in Italian dressing for half an hour and grill. Smoke half a salmon (be sure to get the king size Zig Zags). Did I say that?

Lamb Burgers

Ground lamb
a little quick oats to bind
an egg
rosemary
oregano

As for the burger itself, use sprouts instead of lettuce, saute some mushrooms, and use dijon mustard instead of the normal stuff. The rest is pretty standard fare.

Corn on the Cob

Peel down the husk (but don't rip it off), and remove the silk.
Let sit submerged in cold water for >2 hrs.
Re-wrap the corn in the husk.
Rip off one large leaf from the husk and tie the top of the husk up so it stays.
BBQ

Cedar Plank Salmon

Take a plank of cedar and submerge it in water overnight.
Put salmon on plank
Put plank on BBQ
Wild pacific sockeye is the best
