OK, this looks VERY similar to Ichinisan's list for a reason... He's my twin brother! Anyway, though it's "very similar," it's WAY more accurate.

Atari 2600 (First of many - originally a "woody" hand-me-down) - "At birth" in 1980 though connected in '86/'87
Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) - Summer 1987 or 1988... still have the K-Mart receipt somewhere
Texas Instruments TI-99 ("TI-BASIC") - ~1990/'91
Nintendo Super NES (SNES; first of a few) - February 1994 with renewed Super Mario All*Stars promotion
Nintendo Game Boy (Original core with no Tetris, during promotion when Zelda was included) - Summer 1994
Nintendo Super Game Boy (adapter for GB games on SNES, does this count?) - 1994
Nintendo Entertainment System (NES, model 2, top-loading) - New in 1996
Nintendo Game Boy Pocket (Silver)
Nintendo Game Boy Pocket (2nd Silver)
Nintendo Game Boy Pocket (Clear)
Nintendo Virtual Boy (Brand new and dirt cheap, so much fun!)
Nintendo 64 September 1996 (First console at-launch)
Atari Jaguar (new for dirt cheap, promptly sold it but looking to reacquire)
Acer PC (IBM/Cyrix "P150" CPU, true Mhz unknown, doesn't count, but listed for time reference) - Fall 1996
Nintendo Game Boy Color (Atomic Purple) - At launch; Fall of 1998
New custom high-end gaming PC (Pentium III, doesn't count, but listed for time reference) - February 28th; also "at launch"
Nintendo SNES (smaller model-2, first of many) - February 1999
[various custom-built PC systems over the remaining years including a Voodoo3 and a GeForce3 at launch] 1999-200X
[various Compaq laptops throughout remaining, endless problems/replacements for years] - 2000 through 2004
Sega Genesis (multiple variations totalling ~5) - Ranging period in 2000
Sega Power Base Converter - 2000
Nintendo Super Famicom (Japanese SNES; First imported console) - 2000
Nintendo Game Boy Advance (First early Japanese import; later stolen and re-acquired) - 2001
Nintendo Gamecube (At launch; First of many; Stolen and repurchased) - 2001
Sega 32x - 2001
Philips CD-i (with the two "turd" Zelda games) - 2001
Nintendo Game Boy Advance (Platinum)
Microsoft XBOX (v1.0 destroyed shortly therafter) - Early 2002
Sega CD - 2002
Nintendo Game Boy Player (GBA adapter for Game Cube, does it count?) - At launch
Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP (Cobalt Blue) - Early 2003
Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP (Limited Lime Green) - November; Black Friday
Sega Dreamcast - 2003
Sega Master System - 2003
Sony PSone (smaller, with LCD, later stolen and re-purchased) - 2003
Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP (Classic NES Edition) - At launch
Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP (Limited Pearl) - Black Friday
Datel Advance Game Port (GBA adapter for Game Cube, multiple hardware/software versions, does it count?)
Sega Game Gear (never worked)
Nintendo DS (x2, "phat"; At launch) - November 2004
Sony PSP (At launch) - Spring 2005
Game Boy micro - September 2005
Microsoft XBOX 360 (purchased and sold new) - At launch November 2005
Nintendo DS (special color with free exclusive Nintendogs Best Friends Edition) - November 2005
Acer laptop (dual-core Intel top-o-the-line specs...I know, it doesn't count) February 2006
NEC Turbo ExpressEarly 2006
Nintendo DS Lite (x2; at launch) 2006
Panasonic R.E.A.L 3DO - Summer 2006
Nintendo Wii (At launch) - November 2006
Sony PS3 (At launch) - November 2006

Too many details, variations, duplicates, repurchases, etc to list. Probably missed some platforms too.

Nearly all of these I still have. No matter how strange it looks, the order that I obtained these is still roughly correct.

Many later Gameboy Pockets (I've had the worst luck).

Oh, and I have a Wii pre-ordered. I'm a dork.

* indicates system with questionable success. I've had a few, but your list is WIN! (This doesn't mean I don't appreciate games on these platforms /fanboi protection mode)
