I would have to say a movie with an opposite effect that I hate more and more as I watch it is It's a Wonderful Life. I hate that movie.

Vanilla Sky

Almost everyone seems to hate that movie - but I went from "WTH did I just see?" to "OMG, this movie is amazing!" after a few repeat viewings. The whole concept of concocting an imaginary romance with a woman you barely know, where in your fantasy world, she is your savior and the Vanilla in your dreary skies...it really made sense to me at that point in time. I actually now refer to such shallow, mount-the-girl-on-a-pedestal 'romances' as the Sofia Serrano Complex. That, and I love the word Proximity Infatuation.

Any movie that has a lot of subt comedy that you need to pay attention to see. Like Office Space, its not necessarily bad the first time, but the times after its great.

Again, I wonder why you'd re-watch a movie that you thought was horrible the first time. Sure, some movies are better the 2nd time, but why is there a second time when the first time is so bad?? Kung Pao is the type of movie that's hilarious the first time, for about 15 minutes, but I can't believe someone would actually watch the whole thing, let alone twice!

Casino Royale sucked for me the first time cause I was expecting your typical Bond Movie. I did some research about why it was made the way it was and that it was supposed to be a completely different Bond movie. I loved it the second time.

The Aviator. I was unsatisfied by the ending and it seemed to drag on as I was watching it in theaters. But now I really enjoy it.

Imma have to rewatch Casino Royale. Did not get me going. Thought Goldeneye was better.

Ocean's 12.

I didn't piece it together the first time so I ended the movie basically saying 'WTF?'

Plus, it was confusing.

The Unforgiven.

The first time, I expected a "Josey Wales" type movie and was disappointed. But the more I watch it, the more I appreciate the realism, the soundtrack, and the appropriateness of this being Clint's last Western.

Can't think of any.

If I thought a movie was bad, why would I see it a second time?

I hardly ever watch good movies a second time, never a bad movie. I'll never understand why people buy movies and actually watch them several times, you already know what happens in detail.

Dark City.
I fell asleep in the theatre and woke toward the end of the movie.
Thought it looked pretty interesting so I watched again a few times.
The premise behind that movie is awesome and not to mention Jenifer Connely.
