I've got two.

1. I just learned at age 23 that a pickle is a "pickled" cucumber.

2. A little while ago I was curious to know what the point of eating plant matter was becuause I know we can't break it down very well. I was told to think about it for a bit when I realized... I'VE GOT TEETH to break it down for me!! 😛

I felt a little retarded when I came to these realizations :laugh:

#2) actually no, we eat plant matter (cellulose) to help food pass through our
digestive system better. These fibers help make the crap spongy as opposed to rock hard. Humans do not have cellulase and cannot break down cellulose.

a program i use, purchased for a LOT of money, has been holding off a release (that would fix a signifigant number of problems in the software) for the last couple months because they wanted the time to "update" their website so it would get a higher hitcount on Google 😕
